The Bandmaid's Tale
a new dystopian musical comedy...

So much fun! We got to revisit the old "Let's Put on a Show!" trope as a small band of misfits attempts to topple the government by mounting a soul-stirring production of Les Miserables. We featured some terrific music, including "Bring on the Men" from Jekyll and Hyde, "A Little Upset" from Cry-Baby, and "Seeing You" from Groundhog Day.
Yes, it's an exceptionally dark future, where the few women with musical talent are rounded up and assigned to rich households ... and forced to perform show tunes against their will!
